The Parks and Recreation Department has been very busy over the winter preparing new activities for the Town Residents to enjoy over the next few months. Included in this years' brochure, are innovative, interactive learning camps for children of all ages, a new lineup of family oriented programs, and also our Multi-Sports Camp is fast approaching with additional sports programs added.

This past year, through your community involvement, children are able to enjoy the new playground at Canfield Park. The Parks and Recreation Department is also working closely with the Skate Park Committee to complete the planning and fundraising for this addition to Hotchkiss Field. We would like to send out a special THANK YOU to the residents of this great Town we all live in for making these dreams become a reality.

If there are any questions on programs or any of these new projects, please do not hesitate to contact the Department at any time. I look forward to seeing the development of these projects as they are only going to increase the amount of programs and activities that can be expanded on. So please, enjoy the rest of the winter months and start planning for some new beginnings in 2008!
